- Possess good sales techniques and negotiation skills.
- Be passionate and have the drive and determination to meet/exceed set goals.
- Possess customer-handling techniques.
- Able to co-ordinate work processes in a systematic manner.
- Able to react fast but calmly in the midst of any co-ordination problems.
- A Diploma or higher education preferred.
- Have 2 - 3 years- experience in an international hotel or equivalent sales role.

- He/she needs to support to increase business/occupancy through establishing and maintaining good relationships with a number of clients,working to meet sales targets.
-Develop new business wherever possible from identified market segments and sources of business.
- Attend trade shows, promotions, etc. representing hotel in general to keep a high profile in the marketplace.
-Distribute corporate directories and other sales collateral as appropriate.
-Carry out the sales solicitation strategy developed for all applicable markets.
-Assist in the training of teams ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency.

-Respond to any changes in the departmental function as dictated by the industry, company, or hotel.
