1. At least Bachelor Degree in any field
2. At least 2 year experience in Corporate or Leisure Sales as Sales Executive, Reservation Supervisor or Manager
3. Strong in inter-personality and communication skill
4. Proficiency in English communication

Technical Skills:
1. Strong overall sales skills
2. Effective telephone communication skills
3. Understand Group and Catering positing of the hotel
4. Knowledge of Sales & Catering System and Fidelio Front Office

Basic Function
1. Maximize profitability of the hotel and create positive exposure and goodwill of the hotel widely
2. Manage Sales & Marketing Department effectively and efficiently.
3. Responsible for developing local and overseas accounts as well as FIT/Group sales solicitation to maximize profitability of the hotel.

Set up and manage sales & marketing department pertaining to modern market in order to compete with others effectively.
2. Prepare sales & marketing plan, forecast, and execute them and report the results effectively and timely.
3. Organize and manage the e-commercial channel (on line agencies and own website) and update strategy to be ahead of competitors and business partners.
4. Manage sales and marketing tools or collateral to be used by sales team and other management
5. Work with Resident Manager, Front Office and Housekeeping Leaders setting up show room and generate a plan when there is a hotel visit by clients or business partners
6. Achieve and develop rapport with the local tour operators, airlines and destination management companies through personal association and calling them on a planned and scheduled basis.
7. Create Loyalty or Partnership Program and call on all airlines to stay in touch with the market trends regarding group travel.
8. Ensure that call reports are written 24 hours after seeing the clients or customers.
9. Arrange and organize S&M files to include client profiles, company profiles, and all relevant information including the Call reports.
10. Trace all group and individual company- s files relating to follow-up by constantly calling them to book the business.
11. Produce weekly, monthly, 3-6 monthly and yearly Sales & Marketing forecasts.
12. Maintain the tour and travel, airlines mailing list to ensure that all contacts are entered and updated.
13. Determine with Residence Manager and/or General Manager selling and pricing strategies for all agreed and initiated market segments.
14. Be aware of the market environment to find out what countries are increasing in arrivals and determine a change of strategy whenever necessary.
15. Submit sales call reports on a monthly basis outlining:
- Total number of calls
- Past month activities
- Sales production against budget and targets
- Major business booked for that month and for the future
- Entertainment report
- Your top twenty accounts
- Competitor analysis report
- Upcoming projects or any hotel development
16. Chair weekly sales & marketing meeting proactively and always come with
recommendations and solutions according to but not limited to the following agenda:
- Sales results of each market segment on graphic and spreadsheets with revenue, average room rate, number of room nights, comparing with budget and forecast, including analytic comments or key learning
- Production of each channel of distributions (top 10)
- Competitive Analysis and market share with competitors
- Top 10 of arrival nationalities and any change from month to month
- Any upcoming event or organized group arrivals or any sales activities
- Next month and 3 month forecast with action plan
17. Conduct a minimum of 15 calls per week to establish a sound base of potential agents, clients, and tour and travel accounts. Meet their decision-makers along with the influencers.
18. Assists Resident Manager and General Manager (Director of Sales) in preparation of the Market Analysis, Sales Goals, Sales & Marketing Plan, special programs and other special reports for hotel management.
19. Dresses properly on the working days and when contacts or meet the clients, or whenever appears in the hotel- s public areas (shorts, pants, jeans, or not allowed).
20. Perform other duties as assigned by Resident Manager or General Manager
