- Plans for headcount to staff the positions based on requirements.
- Assists in establishing personnel department budget and manning guide.
- Tracks staff movements, attrition and vacancies and ensures vacancies are filled within stipulated time using the most effective and cost efficient method and sources.
- Participates in recruitment efforts such as posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications and the selection process to select the most suitable internal/external candidates.
- Prepares and processes all personnel action forms related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating and ensures proper approval.
- Maintains and updates all job descriptions.
- Maintains records related to grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Assists in monitoring and managing all updates on staff records, legal documents, policies and procedures and other personnel matters.
- Performs file audits to ensure that all required documentation is collected and maintained.
- Maintains and update PAF log sheet.
- Prepares and submits periodic personnel reports such as turnover, personnel inventories, selection, staff accidents, etc.
- Monitors and reviews hotel benefits and compensation and recommends to the Talent & Culture Manager of the changes as appropriate.
- Monitors and follows up on time attendance records.
- Counsels hotel personnel as needed in the area of career planning, job transfer, staff relations and legal requirement related to personnel.
- Implements an effective staff relations and motivation program in the hotel.
- Develops and implements programs to ensure staff security and safety.
- Disseminates information regarding staff activities, hotel personnel policies, procedures, and any information related to employer-employee relations.
- Prepares and modifies documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails.
- Coordinates and executes staff social, athletic and recreational activities.
- Directs and monitors the conduct of performance appraisal as per set schedules, provides technical guidance to appraisers, oversees proper documentation and timely decision making of related decisions.
- Ensures the Welfare Committee meeting and the Safety Committee meeting are conducted as per requirements.
- Serves as a point person for all new staff questions.
- Completes termination paperwork and assists with exit interviews.
- Assists in establishing standard policies and procedures for all Talent & Culture related.
- Ensures a good team spirit and motivation of the team.
- Undertakes other duties from time to time as required.
