Job Qualifications
ข้อกำหนด
- Cleans refrigerators, kitchen utensils, equipment, work tables etc. Makes sure that the working area is clean at all times.
- Carries with him a notebook at all times-recording any recipes/ instructions.
- Helps the cooks to do simple cooking tasks, gradually learning the profession of a cook.
- Assists to prepare the daily mise en place as per established standards
- Tastes all the food produced regularly.
- Assists to prepare the daily mise en place as per established standards
- Helps to controls wastage and over production.
- Helps to sets up buffets as per standards and on time. When clearing buffets make sure that no kitchen items are left behind.
- Familiarizes himself on how to react in a case of an emergency such as: Fire, gas leek, flood, burst pipe, black out etc. Knows where to find and how to handle tile nearest fire extinguisher.
- Attends training classes, staff meetings and gives suggestions for improvement. Collects food and beverage items from store rooms and other kitchens.
- Knows how to operate, handle all the kitchen equipment and machines and knows How to clean them after use.
- Follows hotel / kitchen rules and regulations closely.
- Follows work schedule which is irregular, never haggles about the working hours.
- Reports to his superior any problems / unusual happenings.
- Participates as a member of the team, shows job interest and enthusiasm towards his Work and is willing to learn.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
