Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Worldwide market (except German Speaking market), local market and Online Travel Agent and management of those accounts with sales team.
- Attend overseas tradeshow (ITB, WTM), local tradeshow (TTM) and overseas sales call under the direct approval of Group Director.
- Sales call to Russia agent at Pattaya.
- Sales call to major local agent in Bangkok.
- Analyze main and potential account in term of profile and contribution in order to approach them properly.
- Keeps close contact with all existing and potential account, whenever directly involved in the negotiation stage.
- Negotiate with main and potential account in order to feature in brochure or online.
- Submit all selective main account in term of brochure contribution to Group Director for approval.
- Discuss and consider all allotment of each account and submit to Group Director.
- Review and monitor of all implement to customers such as free sales, close sales, promotion, rates and benefits revision.
- Update hotel information such as renovation, refurbishment, environment and situation in Koh Samui such as flood in Samui and other crisis situation to customer.
- Remain aware of competitor advantages and disadvantages.
- Give direction and monitor sales team in order to maximize performance.
- Assist and co-ordinate with other department in order to find the solution and maximize hotel performance.
- Prepare monthly sales report to Managing Director and Group Director.
UK Market and other Worldwide
- Attend WTM in London by co-ordinate with UK rep.
- Negotiate contract rate with tour operator and propose to Group Director for approval.
- Issue contract rate, allotments, promotion and other documents to tour operator.
- Discuss and negotiate marketing plan of each tour operator in order to participate and feature of brochure or other campaign.
- Correspondence with all requirements from tour operators.
Local Tour Operator
- Regular sales call to tour operator and travel agent based in Bangkok.
- Updating contact key contact person for each account.
- Remain at their disposal for any specific requests or to clarification in room types, or some enquiry regarding room maximum capacity.
- Perform full presentation or training to all product manager and reservation department
- Look after Hotel artwork featuring in Brochure and lay out whether they display our resort properly once that has been approved from hotel
Russia Agent
- Sales call to Russia agent who based in Pattaya and Bangkok.
- Negotiate contract rate and brochure contribution and submit to Group Director for approval.
- Issue contract rate, allotments, promotion and other documents to tour operator.
- Discuss and negotiate marketing plan of each tour operator in order to participate and feature of brochure or other campaign.
- Correspondence with all requirements from tour operators.
Online Travel Agent (OTA)
- Regular Sales call to maintain strong relationships with each market manager, and key contact person for each OTA
- Load all rate by season, allotments, room types, room description, pictures of each room type set up in to each OTA via extranet.
- Create and discuss about new campaign in order to generate more booking.
- Monitoring parity of rate and cancellation policy to all OTA.
- Top up allotment if replenished.
- Update free sales and close sales to all OTA via extranet.
- Look at conversion and traffic for visitors into each web sites
- Make sure hotel is listed in good ranking, within possibility
- Identify booking from source of market, source of booking, and trend for overallIf any cancellation, trace the guests feedback - change of destination, or price sensitive factor
