Assistant Purchasing Manager

- Minimum of 4 years experience in position in 4-5 stars hotel.
- Able to work outside the office and flexible schedule (Including weekends and holidays).
- Able to contact and co-ordinate with people from other organizations, have good human relationship, high mobility
- Good taste, good sourcing and bargaining skills
- Have knowledge of the principles and practices within the purchasing area
- Analytical skills, well organized, able to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and able to work under pressure.
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Good computer literacy
- Interest in caring for environment will be given special consideration

- Being in charge of the hotel- s purchasing work
- Ensure that proper purchasing procedures are in place
- Review all the Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders processed
- Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased
- Conduct market price survey in coordination with Head of Departments
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time
