- Thai Nationality
- Bachelor- s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or other related field
- Minimum 3 years- experience in related field
- Experience with incoming tour operator or DMC business
- Experience in quotation work and tailor-making of tours
- Good product and destination knowledge of Thailand
- Ability to deal and negotiate with business partners in Thailand and overseas
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Any additional foreign language is an advantage
- Good personality, active team player and fast learning
- Flexible, fast adaptation to new tasks
- Microsoft Office literacy
- In addition, this position handles all kinds of requests and inquiries, tailor-made tour programs, reservations, communication with agents overseas, local hotels and other suppliers.
- Good attitude, well organized, hardworking, with the ability to work as part of a team

Operations Director will be responsible for the oversight, budget and management of tour and travel including supervising the guides and travel agents and supporting their operations of tours and travel desks. Major focus on the day to day operations and also assist GM in long-term strategy to drive revenues through all revenue streams, manage expenses, mentoring & development of team, and support overall key objectives outlined each year. In addition to this will be to support the development of new tours and opening of new retail travel locations, but not limited to supporting recruitment, OS&E decisions, training of team, support & coordination with other departments including sales, marketing, revenue, and any third party suppliers & partners we choose to work with. This position requires strong time management and administrative oversight, solid business acumen and self-motivation. In this role, you will use the experience you have gained from working in various of roles in tourism to develop better ways of working with new & exciting initiatives.
- Correspond with overseas travel agents and partners of the company, provide them with accurate and up-to-date travel information
- Create budgets related to tours, staff, operational expenses, revenue and forecasting
- Advise, create outlines and travel itineraries for tour operators/ travel agents
- Make quotations/proposals and reconfirm bookings with/for overseas agents
- Liaise with local operators, develop and establish positive working relationships with local operators and partners
- Work closely with tour guides and travel agents to ensure smooth tour operations
- Issue invoices in due time and assist accounting department regarding payment
- Ensure all sales are reported in relevant software for sales reports
- Ensure standards and inbound processes are followed
- Drive guest satisfaction through the development of feedback structures and the implementation of positive changes
- Assist in the training and development of staff. Help GM create set targets and KPI- s
- Look to improve handling time and productivity by making suggestions on how to simplify or speed up work processes
Assist with the recruitment, selection and appointment of new associates in accordance with all statutory requirements, company policies and procedures to meet the needs of the company
- Strive to achieve a high ratio of conversions versus enquiries
- Communicate on responsible products with agents and on our policies/responsible tourism initiatives with our suppliers
