- Responsible for assisting the Convention Service Sales Manager in the overall supervision and coordination of all activities of personnel engaged in operation of the convention organization.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Convention Sales Manager in a timely and efficient manner
- Handling incoming call, facsimile, e-mail and letter which request the information of Banqueting & catering
- Asking day/date, no. of guests, timing, type of function : meeting, lunch or dinner party, wedding party
- Obtain all information from clients in respect of price, menu, set up, decorations, audio visual and any special requirement
- Checking function room availability if any blocking are needed.
- Review all details with guests
- Handling guest walk-in for hotel inspection
- Handling letter to guest within 24 hours.
- Quotation letter Include general information about hotel offered for function activities which is not fixed the function date.
- Tentative letter Includes rate price, menu, equipment provided & terms of payment for function activities. In this letter the date function is fixed and reservation is needed, blocking of function room
