Banquet Manager (ผู้จัดการจัดเลี้ยง)

- To perform any other duties, set by hotel policies, management or his/her direct supervisor, which are not included here.
- Banquet Manager in supervising of the basic day-to-day operations of the Banquet Department.
- Supervising banquet staff in planning and executing banquet functions, promotions and other special event - - - - Follow up training programme, trains banquet staff continuously and attend training as assigned.
- Supervises the banquet staff to perform all work in accordance with established Banquet policies and procedures.
- To ensure the accurate and useful information are transmitted to all concerned.
- To check the daily function preparation, laying of tables, cleanliness of chinaware, cutlery and glasses.
- Periodically check equipment, function rooms to maintain good conditions and ensure that it is always ready to be used.
- Accept guest complaints, be a good listener, solve such complaints in the most diplomatic manner and report to the management.
- Must know the banquet equipment available in the hotel as well as AV equipments.
- In charge of Convention and Exhibition work, and coordinate with Sales Dept. and the others.
- Attend daily BQ. operation briefing and weekly E.O. meeting.
- Ensure safety standards and professional appearances are maintained.
- Liaise with other Departments. to ensure that BQ. operations smoothly.
- Create interior design for theme decoration with artist staff and carpenter.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the storeroom.
- Schedule the roster for staff according to the function.
- Ensure the good conditions of Banquet vehicle.
- Ensure that no obstructing object has blocked the fire exit area.
- In charge of all BQ. operations duties in the absence of the Banquet Manager.
- Control parking coupon for each function.
- To perform all assigned duties, in an efficient and technically correct manner, follow the management policy, house rules and regulations, orders of supervisors, adhere to procedures of the training manual and achieving a high standard leading to total guest satisfaction.
