Hostess (BU: Baan Turtle)

Profile and Qualifications:
1. At least Vocational certificate preferring bachelor- s degree in any field
2. At least 1-year experience in restaurant operation or well trained in F&B operation
3. Strong in inter-personality and creative skill
4. Proficient in English communication and POS system

Basic Function:
To greet and seat guests in the restaurant using all the techniques and steps outlined in the service standards manual of Baan Turtle.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To ensure that all guests are greeted and far welled with warm, friendly enthusiasm and escorted to their designated dining venue.
2. Follow reception opening and closing checklist thoroughly.
3. Ensure that the front or the restaurant is always covered and spotless.
4. Inquire guests- feedback on the quality of their meals, service, etc. and share any problems that arise immediately-inform supervisor and manager immediately but try to take care of the problem at once.
5. Be thorough in knowledge of the restaurant, services offered, operating hours of all restaurants.
6. Communicate all necessary information to supervisor or manager and write down all messages in restaurant communication Log.
7. Flexible to assist and perform in other areas when needed during peak times.
