Housekeeping Supervisor

1. Extensive knowledge about various job duties in the housekeeper department
2. Good in driving results and people management and development
3. Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
4. Good in inter-personality and supervisory skill
5. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.
6. Ability to manage your time efficiently.
7. High school or diploma.

1. Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
2. Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action.
3. Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
4. Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.
5. Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
6. Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage.
7. Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
9. Participate in hotel committees and task force assignments.
10. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
