Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Proficiency in English and computer literate
- High School or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field.
- Food service permit or valid health/food handler
- 1 year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is beneficial
- Able to work on a 3 shift basis including evenings, night shift and weekends.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Scope of Work
You are responsible & empowered to handle all activities relevant to the guest contact points such as check in / out, rooming of all hostel guests, serving food and beverage, leading activities, assisting guests with their quest for information on our neighbourhood & the destination we are in.
To create truly unforgettable experiences by delivering unique accommodation, activities and service.
Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.

Responsibilities, but are not limited to

- Welcome and greet all guests in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
- Deliver Food and Beverage service standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
- Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information
- Establish and maintains effective employee working relationships
- Attends and participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
- Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled
- Prepares for service by ensuring:
- Grooming is impeccable and in accordance with personal presentation standards
- Outlet equipment and Bar are clean
- Equipment is sorted and stored
- Requirements for special events are ready
- Outlet is ready for service and guest comfort
- Prepare menu items for daily operation.
- Support the process for new menu items or operational innovation to support company goals.
- Carries out effective service by ensuring:
- Guests are greeted
- Daily food and beverage specials are explained and up-sold
- Food orders are processed accurately
- Payment methods are handled accurately
- Working areas are cleaned and re-set quickly
- Carries out effective beverage service by ensuring:
- Beverages are up-sold and regularly replenished, abiding by responsible alcohol service regulations
- Promoting and selling drinks menu to guests
- Making and presenting cocktails
- Coffee and tea is served hot and in accordance with standard
- Patron care standards are adhered to by ensuring:
- Guests are advised on alcoholic beverages
- Compliance with legal provisions of local liquor codes
- Level of intoxication of guests is assessed and appropriate action taken
- Advise guest on the hotel- s policy of smoking
- Monitor factors which interfere with the total experience of the guest
- Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
- Operate computer programs and multi-line phone systems
- Maintain guest records and book reservations
- Room information is known
- Help our guests at check-in / check-out, share the facilities of our hostel & the activities program.
- Updates, Immigration Office and Department of Provincial Administration, guest data upon check in and submit on daily and weekly basis
- Run and lead activities as required
Maintain, take care all Lub d plantation & rooftop area
- Any other duties to support the overall success and growth of the company
