(Pre-opening The Salil Hotel Riverside) Room Division Manager

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years- experience in Front Office Management experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector in a similar capacity
- 5-star hotel experience with strong leadership skills to manage and motivate the team
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience managing to brand standards with good financial awareness
- Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

POSITION PURPOSE
A Rooms Division Manager is responsible for overseeing all Rooms Division operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while evaluating guest satisfaction and setting department targets and objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments (e.g. Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping) and managing staff. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Monitors compliance with standards and procedures. Leads specific team while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals.
- Assists in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments (e.g., Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping). Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing service.
- Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement. Assists in performing required annual Quality audit with General Manager
- Verifies property policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support the Peer Review Process, where applicable.
