- To be courteous, friendly and polite when attending to guest at all times
- Perform arrival and departure experiences according to the required standards as per Leading Quality Assurance and Forbes Travel Guide.
- Escort guests to their rooms and conduct room orientation to the standard required by COMO Hotels & Resorts
- Have a good understanding on how to operate Credit Card EDC Machine
- Have a good understanding in exchanging foreign currency. To make sure that the correct amount is received and given to the guest.
- Have a good understanding in calculation - For example, be able to work out tax and service charge breakdown.
- Responsible for holding accurate amount of Hotel float, which is assigned to you. Report to Duty Manager immediately if there was any discrepancy.
- Be knowledgeable about the hotel- s facilities, operating hours and services provide.
- Communicate the new information such as; special events in Bangkok into the Log Book to provide up-to-date information to guests and colleagues
- Provide accurate information when assisting the guests; such as restaurants opening hours and directions.
- Share the information from each shift briefing with your colleagues using the logbook and trace. Communicate or hand over any pending issues by using Trace function in Opera.
- Maintain the equipment and other items used in Front Office Department and report any damages or loss immediately to your supervisor.
- Adapt to any procedural changes made by Management. To practice it at all times once the change has been implemented.
- Be present at Front Desk at all times, never leave Front Desk unattended. If you need to be excused, inform your Supervisor or Manager to stand by whilst you are away.
- Use guest- s names when know and input guest- s preferences in guest- s profile for future reference
- Have basic understanding of current technology, telecommunication equipment and systems to in order to assist the guests
- Be able to conduct site inspection of the hotel when required
- Attend all scheduled trainings arranged by the hotel.
- Be able to work on any shift required: morning, cover, afternoon and over night shift
