1. Product Knowledge
a) To have a full working knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resorts.
b) To have an understanding of the room product in terms of rates, layout and physical attributes,
benefits and amenities.
c) To be aware of all current promotions and special rates.
d) To be familiar with all policies and procedures.
e) To be aware of what current daily selling strategy is.
f) To be fully aware of resorts Evason Spirit Policy.
2. Reservations Handling
A. To have a full understanding of the reservations process. Proficient in operating the reservations
systems and equipment.
B. To provide prompt, courteous and efficient service at all times, to answer all calls within three
rings using SSR standard phrasing.
C. To "upsell" by quoting, "the right room at the right price" with emphasis on customer - wants and
needs- .
D. To ensure that all reservations are processed within 24 hours using SSR standard replies.
E. To ensure that all correspondence is printed and filed accordingly.
F. To ensure that all reservations in PMS have all guest, travel agent, company, promotional
information, and details completed in full.
G. To ensure that all billing instructions and payment methods are clear at all times in the PMS and
that credit is given to authorised company / agencies only as per resort FC.
H. To be aware of booked-out status and need periods at resort and maximize selling opportunities.
To alert the Reservations Manager of sudden changes in occupancy levels or concerns with
availability access at resorts.
I. To be aware of all future group business that will be arriving at the resort.
J. To maintain your own working manual of the resort and update as new information is obtained.
