Duties & Responsibilities - Training:
- To attend Resort morning briefing, management meetings and other meetings as may be required
- To build and maintain confidence and credibility with all hosts from Atmosphere to Innersphere levels
- Acts as an objective third party in counseling, problem solving or conflict situations where learning issues are involved
- Actively seek for feedback from the Management on which learning programs are needed and to schedule such programs or initiatives to be conducted
- Facilitate the First day orientation and monitor the progress of all new hires within their probationary period
- Conduct the Train The Trainer program and its follow ups skills program
- Actively participate in the Resort committees i.e. HCIM, Four Houses, Eco Team, Health and Safety, etc
- To assist the Department Heads in identifying the Training Needs within their department
- Create and produce the annual Training Needs Analysis and the Resort Training Plan for the Management
- Produce Monthly Training / Learning Calendar
- Drive and participate in Standard achievement (i.e. best practices, LQA survey, etc) by testing, training, coaching, campaign and other initiatives
- Prepare the annual Learning and Development Budget and to continuously monitor the department expenses
- Analyze guest comments, service recovery, Richey Report to improve service levels and close performance gaps
- To communicate the effects of the learning function through bulletin board, Host News Letter and other media
- To ensure department Learning and Development goals and objectives are set and achieved
- To assist with the compilation of the Resort- s and department- s Operation / Training Manuals
- To plan, implement and monitor the following training are effectively conducted:
o Orientation
o Hygiene Training
o Health and Safety Training
o Fire Training
o Language Training
- To coordinate and monitor the Six Senses programs are conducted, includes Management Trainee program and all mandatory Six Senses courses, Departmental management and Development Program, Local Management Training Program
- To develop and to conduct various in house training program
- To perform special duties or project assigned from time to time and report the progress to the Management
Duties & Responsibilities - HR
- To attend the operational briefing and to conduct the daily briefing the Human Resources Office
- To assist the Human Resources Director in smooth and efficient running of the department, ensuring that all policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual are strictly adhered to
- To be responsible for all Human Resources administration
- To oversee the administration of all work permits, visas, licenses, application for employment of expatriate though Board of Investment or Immigration Department where and when applicable
- To ensure that all Hosts records are kept confidentially and up to date
- To coordinate the administration of host benefits and salaries
- To conduct the Salary and Benefits survey
- To ensure the compilation and the implementation of the following host communication:
o Host Handbook
o Host News Letter
o Host Notice boards
o Host Meetings
- To recommend and develop personnel policies and procedures to be adopted by the Resort
- To coordinate the production of the Position Description with the Department Heads
- To assist the Human Resources Director in annual Budget preparation
- To ensure the manning budget is adhered to
- To arrange for the initial screening interview, short listing and subsequent interview for the most suitable candidates
- To counsel Hosts in career development, personal issues, job related issues, etc.
- To counsel Hosts in all matters in relation with hosts relations, Welfare and Benefits
- To assist the Human Resources Director in administering and maintain the Host benefits scheme
- To assist the Human Resources Director to set up award schemes / grievance procedures to be applied throughout the Resort
- To assist the Human Resources Director in establishing disciplinary procedures ad ensure their consistent application
- To ensure that all Hosts receive an effective induction into the Resort
- To perform special duties or project assigned from time to time and report the progress to the Management
