? High school diploma or equivalent is usually required.
? Prior experience in a similar role, such as kitchen stewarding can be advantageous.
? Experience in food handling, dishwashing, or cleaning services is often preferred.
? Stewarding roles can be physically demanding, requiring standing for long periods, lifting and carrying heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced environment.
? Strong attention to detail is essential for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
? Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
? Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
? Ability to complete tasks efficiently and on time.

? Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashers or by hand.
? Ensuring all kitchen equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitized.
? Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, including countertops, stoves, and storage areas.
? Cleaning dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors.
? Managing garbage and recycling disposal.
? Sorting and disposing of waste according to hotel policies and environmental guidelines.
? Ensuring proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
? Properly storing and organizing cleaning materials and equipment.
? Working closely with other hotel staff, including housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance teams.
? Following proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
? Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
? Understanding and following hotel policies and procedures.
