1. Exhibit behavior and drive that is result focused, builds loyalty, a purposeful and happy work environment and sets the standard for all club staff in guest focus and service
2. A complete understanding of the Club?s HR Rules & Regulations and the department?s SOPs
3. Implement the department induction programme for all new staff who must be made welcome, introduced to the team members and understand their roles and responsibilities
4. All staff have signed position agreements. Changes must be approved by owner and the GM only
5. Constantly reviewing the department SOPs and making suggestions to the GM for updates when appropriate. Changes must be approved by owner and the GM only
6. The organization, hiring, scheduling, supervision, motivation, disciplining of all department staff and their compliance with the SOPs
7. The training and guidance of all staff using the SOPs and internal and external training services
8. Conduct regular performance appraisals for all department staff assisted by direct reports
9. Maintain high staff morale by arranging social activities and participation in general club activities
10. Make regular recommendations on increasing revenue and saving costs
11. Make regular recommendations on service and operational improvements
12. The maintenance and protection of the Clubs? equipment, furnishings and other assets
13. Represent the club favorably when on and off duty to help attract new customers
14. Department is in compliance with all government laws, regulations and permits
15. Report any malpractice which may damage the Clubs? revenue or reputation
16. As a member of the Club Crisis Management Team, fully understand the Clubs? Emergency Response Procedures
17. Record all incidents in the department log book which require review and action by GM
