The Senior Security Supervisor should have the following qualities:
- possess a Bachelor Degree certificate;
- good level of written and spoken English;
- proven experience as a security officer;
- experience in managing the security system;
- assign tasks and supervise security officers in performing their work
The Senior Security Supervisor reports directly to Director of Business Services and Operations and Safety Manager.
- Conduct inspections throughout the buildings, locations, and school?s assets on a daily basis
- Train and delegate responsibilities to the team members according to the directives from the School
- Have relevant knowledge in emergency procedures and incident responses in case of fire, explosion, terrorist, evacuation and lockdown
- Be the main contact and liaison for local emergency services (Police and Fire Brigade) ? emergency procedures specific
- Overseeing the school assets and managing the lost & found property
- Regular patrol of buildings and perimeters
- Maintain list of at risk students and control of non-authorized access for individuals
- Manage and monitor the security system to make sure that it is fully functional (CCTV, Alarm System)
- Conduct and manage statutory tests on the schools emergency systems
- Manage the school?s entry & exit system and traffic in school compound
- Coordinate with local police authorities to ensure traffic flow
- Ensure that any individuals entry and exit to the school has been checked and verified
- Ensure that any visitors contacting the school should act according to the security policies
- Oversee and coordinate security efforts across the school
- Manage the shuttle boat?s security system to ensure safety for all users
- Be the main contact person with the Chatrium for boat issues
- Any unusual incidents occurring (death, fire, terrorist or explosion) must be reported directly to the line manager. Other general incidents can be solved by the individual himself or with the help of other relevant individuals.
