- Greet the guests and offers assistance, directs guests to the check-in counter.
- Accompany guests to the assigned rooms and explains all facilities in the room.
- Inform and sell other hotel facilities to guests.
- Upon check-out, carries the baggage down to the lobby and directs the guest to the Front Office Cashiers.
- Load/Unload the luggage into the car/taxi/van, counts the number of pieces of luggage and confirms this with the guest.
- Deliver messages, parcels, faxes, etc. to guest rooms. He will carry in-house phone for easy location.
- Deliver morning newspaper to all guest rooms during midnight shift.
- Help keep the lobby areas clean at all times.
- Run errands, carries baggage for room change and performs paging with the hotel premises.
- Help in opening car doors when stationed at the main entrance.
- Lead guests where they would like to go within the hotel but are uncertain of the location.
- Ensure all guests elevators are kept clean at all times.
- Keep all luggage for safe-keeping in an orderly manner and enter in the luggage storage control sheet for the luggage room. Report to Concierge on any damages of the luggage.
- Hand any lost articles left in the lobby to the Concierge.
- Be careful by not damaging the lift walls, or corridor walls when using the trolleys.
- Maintain the conditions of the equipment, e.g. polishing the trolleys, etc.
