Director of Sales & Marketing

1. Together with Director of Sales, Group, recruit, train and motivate sales staff.
2. Assist Director of Sales, Group in setting standards, supervising, evaluating and reviewing of the sales staff performance.
3. Assist Director of Sales, Group in preparing job descriptions for each sales department position.
4. Assist Director of Sales, Group in establishing policies and procedures for the sales department.
5. Assist Director of Sales, Group in establishing, implementing and evaluating the sales department goals and objectives-on both long term and short-range basis.
6. Participate in construct an annual budget so the Sales Department has the necessary funds to best do the job and best reach the goals and objectives
7. Exercise supervision over sales personnel and other staff in following sales policy and practice established by the hotel.
8. Chair morning/evening sales brief and weekly sales meeting.
9. Administer and coordinate all Sales Department function in the solicitation of business.
10. Maintain contact with existing customers.

1.Director of Sales in establishing an overall marketing program aimed at developing maximum business volume for rooms food, beverage and other sales to the hotel.
2.Carry out sales strategies and direct the sales staff in motivating clients to make a purchase that will benefit them.
3.See that the sales staff is doing just selling the product by contacting prospective or current clients and selling the benefits of the property rather than washing their time on areas belonging to marketing.
4.Maximize hotel?s business through the development of new sources of business and stabilize existing sources.
