Tour Coordinators

- 1-2 years hotel experience or related field.
- Very good command of both spoken and written English and able to speak the third language will be an advantage.
- University or College Graduate
- Able to solve unexpected problem cleverly, able to work without supervisor, positive attitude, service mind
-Able to work any shifts and work long and irregular hours as and when required.
- Knowledge of computer, reservation and front office operation.

? Handle group or layover pre arrival activities and ensure that all requests are arrange prior to arrival.
? Reconcile PM account with the cheque and cash payment daily.
? Review future group arrival regularly and anticipates the room type requirement and take proactive action before the group arrives.
? Consult Duty Manager on duty as and when any outstanding extras have not been paid by the group members or layover passengers.
TECHNICAL RESPONSABILITIES

? Coordinate with housekeeping department on blocking of rooms and ensure that all rooms that are blocked for the group or layover are clean upon arrival.
? Ensure that all group and layover room rates are posted correctly in the system to avoid unnecessary rebate
? Coordinate with Concierge and ensure that all group and layover luggage is down as per schedule
? Coordinate with Duty Manager on duty pertaining to wake up calls time and ensure that wake up call is given to the group members or layover passengers as per schedule.
? Coordinate with airlines and Duty Manager on duty pertaining to last minute layover
? Assisting GSA on duty handling group and layover departure and ensure that all extras has been paid by the group members or layover passengers

? Built good rapport with all travel agent tour guide as well as airlines and liase with them pertaining to group check in, luggage down, morning call and other matters that concerning the group or layover
? Communicate with travel agent to ensure that prepayment is collected in advance before the group arrives.
? Communicates with airlines to ensure that hotel accommodation is collected immediately after layover check out.
