Proficiency in English and computer literate
Bachelor degree or higher in human resource management, Law or any related fields
At least 1 years of full spectrum of human resources management experience in the hospitality environment or related.
Knowledgeable in labor law & key legal compliance issues involved in HR processes.

Scope of Work



Under the general guidance and supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Supervisor will assist in planning, managing, controlling, coordinating and participating personnel activities in areas of staff benefits, wages, salary, labor and employee relations, recruitment, as well as recommending, implementing, formulating and executing hotel policies, procedures, rules, regulations and program for staff.




WHAT?S YOUR ROLE?



RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS

Recruitment

Develops and implements recruitment and screening systems.
Assists in establishing standard policies and procedures for recruitment.
Ensures timely recruitment of staff.
Employee Check In

Keeps updated with new hire arrival dates
Prepares to receive new employees.
Opens and maintains a file for each employee.
Maintains up to date personal records for all employees
Employee Separation

Maintains updates of all leave records of employees to ensure that all leaves are promptly cleared.
Expatriate Work Permits, Residence Permits and Visas

Prepare documents for Visa and work permits as requested by the Human Resources Manager.
Others

Contact the Health Quarantine for employee pre-employment medical check-up.
Oversees selected staff activities to ensure effective staff management.


ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

Formulates and administers Human Resources policies and procedures.
Prepares and maintains the Human Resources Manual for the hotel, seeing that its philosophy, policies and procedures are carried out.
Advises the Human Resources Manager on documents and procedures needed for possible transfer of expatriate residence permits.
Prepares and submits periodic personnel reports such as turnover, personnel inventories, recruitment, and staff accidents.
Follows up closely the end of probation period date and end of contract date.
Assist in establishing personnel department budgets.
Monitors the staff performance review.


TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyzes manpower requirement and recommends selection activities to meet the requirement.
Reviews personnel policies, procedures and practice. Recommends changes, modification or update information to the Human Resources Manager.
Monitors and reviews benefits and compensation and recommends to the Human Resources Manager of the changes as appropriate.
Monitors the follow up of the time record of the staff.


COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively participates in the organization of all staff activities.
Actively participates in the Employee Opinion Survey and provides suggestions to improve employee situations.
Acts on all employee correspondence within 48 hours.


HUMAN RESPONSIBILITIES

Receives visitors and candidates in a professional manner as well as ensure the prompt, efficient and courteous delivery of service to them.
Counsels hotel personnel as needed in the area of career planning, job transfer, staff relations and legal requirements related to personnel.
Implements an effective staff relations and motivation program in the hotel.
Develops and implements programs to ensure staff security and safety.
Disseminates information regarding staff activities, hotel personnel policies, procedures, and any information related to employer-employee relations.
Responsible for ensuring a good team spirit and motivation of the team.
Coordinates and executes staff social, athletic and recreational activities.


RELATION

Reports to the Human Resources Manager.
Supervises the performance of the Personnel Secretary, Office Assistants. Interacts with individuals outside the hotel including but not limited to, staff benefit representatives, applicants, government officials and members of the local community.
Coordinates functions and activities with other departments.
