Education & Experience
Bachelor?s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
Minimum 3?5 years of experience in housekeeping operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment is an advantage.

High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical safety.

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, order, and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role supervises housekeeping staff, coordinates with other departments, and maintains high standards of hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely service delivery.
Supervise and train housekeeping staff, room attendants, and public area cleaners.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry to ensure quality standards.
Monitor inventory levels of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities; support in cost control.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
Support scheduling, payroll input, and performance evaluations for the housekeeping team.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering teams for room readiness and maintenance needs.
Assist in developing cleaning procedures, standard operating guidelines, and training modules.
Act as manager-on-duty in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager.
