- Previous experience as a laundry washhouse
person and presser including:
*Experience in a supervisory role is preferred
*Experience in a luxury property is beneficial
- Good knowledge of Laundry & Dry Cleaning
processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of Hotel and industry legislation e.g.
H&S and Company hand book.
- Good organizational skills
- Self motivated and well presented
-To lead, guide and train laundry attendants and
valets to provide consistently outstanding service.
-To ensure efficient operations of the Laundry. To
met highest Hotel standards and provide
consistently excellent laundry, dry cleaning and
pressing services to guests.
-In the absence of the Laundry Manager, to lead
and coordinate the laundry team to enhance
performance, achieve department objectives and
service standards.
-To manage Laundry area to drive business growth
and guest satisfaction.
-To provide a professional laundry and pressing
services to hotel guests and colleagues to
consistently meet and exceed expectations.
-To provide effective day to day communication
with guests, colleagues and teams.
