Job basic:
Responsible for the analysis of revenue, profit and demand associated with rooms and function space inventory. Accountable for price positioning and inventory management. Oversees the processes associated with: demand, revenue, forecasting and opportunity analysis (to include seasonality, competitive positioning and displacement). Determines and is accountable for implementation of the hotel(s) sales strategy and pricing for transient, group and catering.
Identifies future opportunities and effectively communicates set strategies to the sales organization.
Job Responsibilities:
? Revenue Management and sales strategy Team Leadership ? lead team in determining sales strategies and communicate to other sales team members, marketing communications teams and property leadership.
? Establish and maintain effective and rational pricing strategies for room and function space.
? Responsible for annual pricing process for transient, group, catering, function space.
? Evaluates participation in electronic channels
? Continuous analysis of competitive set, price positioning, seasonality and mix.
? Responsible for the preparation of Property Diagnostic Process
Technical Skills:
? Knowledge of transient, group and catering customer segments in the market place
? Understanding of Total Hotel Revenue Management concepts, processes and Systems
? Understanding of Property Based inventory systems (Fidelio FO/S&C, Marsha, Word / Excel Processing applications )
? Strong leadership skills
? Effective communication skills (timely, concise in update strategies etc.)
? Demonstrates self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
? Manages group or interpersonal conflict situations effectively
? Excellent Analytical Skills ? Market
? Spreadsheet and Data Analysis skills
? Strong Mathematical skills
? Detail oriented
? Understanding of hotel industry distribution channels.
