1. Minimum of 5 years? experience in marketing, communications and public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the hospitality industry, at a 5 star level will be a distinct advantage.
2. A comprehensive knowledge of the commercial aspects of a hotel/resort and its segments, in order to produce effective, consumer and trade plans.
3. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
4. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
5. Experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel.
6. Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media or associated PR agencies on retainer.
7. Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
8. Computer literacy in word processing, data base management and page layout.
9. Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
10. Strong oral and written communications skills.
11. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
