Good communication skills in speaking and writing
Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results
Familiar with Microsoft Offices, etc
Leadership
Recruit, train and supervise staff on regular basis and as needed
Manage budgets and prepare GM's reports, including recommendations for owner
Maintain statistical and financial records. Review results and set up control measures for expenses that deviate unexpectedly from budget
Plan maintenance work, events and room bookings
Handle customer complaints, queries, and emergencies
Identify new revenue opportunities.
Propose and implement effective marketing strategies to maximize room occupancy levels
Inspections with TO's and potential guests
Read monthly review score and comments report. Update owner on actions taken to avoid recurrence of complaints.
Respond to online reviews
Ensure receiving work schedules for each department from HODs, review schedules
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws
