1. At least Vocational diploma and preferable Bachelor degree in any field
2. At least 2 year experience in restaurant operation with a good track record of achievements
3. Good in inter-personality, leadership, and creative skill
4. Proficiency in English, computer and point of sale machine
5. Good in driving results and people management and development
1. Actively support the quality Improvement process.
2. Assume responsibility of daily operation of all assigned outlets.
3. Assist in ensuring that scheduling functions are performed accurately and on a timely basis.
4. Assist in maintaining a highly motivated and well trained staff.
5. Open and close shift in accordance with manager?s checklist.
6. Initiate aggressive guest interaction through seeking and soliciting feedback from guests.
7. Train, maintain and enforce all company service standards, using use records, menus, and
appropriate reference materials.
8. Properly execute revenue and check control procedures on shift.
9. Handle daily employee relations i.e. scheduling, time adjustments, and etc.
10. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all employees and guests.
11. Gather and implement all proper tools for running shifts i.e. schedules, floor plans, reservations,
checks.
12. Find solutions for problems such as call outs, last minute bookings, or any other daily problems
that may arise.
13. During shift, ensure that guests are satisfied by assisting with serving, seating, communication with
kitchen, and by striving to speak to all guests.
14. Be on the floor during entire meal period and ensure adequate coverage.
15. Conduct taste panels and menu classes on a daily basis for restaurant.
16. Ensure that only a quality product is being served.
17. Monitor hours, staffing overtime on a daily basis for restaurant with accurate scheduling in line
with forecast and budget guidelines.
18. Ensure all side work is done on a daily basis.
19. Maintain proper employee uniform standards
20. Manage an effective repair and maintenance program through the use of work orders, inspections,
and etc.
21. Assist any employee in his/her job performance, when required, to ensure guest satisfaction.
22. Understand and teach empowerment principles to ensure guest satisfaction.
23. Exercise station rotation to ensure stations are distributed fairly.
24. Assist in implementing an effective training program for new and current employees using use
records, menus, and appropriate reference manuals.
25. Encourage problem solving by employees through proper training and empowerment.
26. Establish effective communication with employees to gain their trust and respect through his/her
hard work.
27. Maintain fair and consistent counselling and/or disciplinary procedures in accordance with
company?s guarantee of fair treatment policy.
28. Attend restaurant employee meetings.
29. Demonstrate positive interdepartmental relations.
30. Communicate directly and/or through the use of the log book to the next shift supervisor.
31. Identify and recommend incentive programs, new ideas, and methods of operation.
32. Perform any reasonable request made by management which is not life threatening or against the
law.
