GENERAL MISSION

Be fully responsible for the fitness center, pool and kids club departmental operation according to the standards established by Novotel Bangkok Platinum, and organize, direct and coordinate the activities of the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS

? Works directly with guests as well as personnels of other departments and maintains a good relationship.
? Assist in the smooth running of the Fitness Center, Swimming Pool and Kids Club on a day to day basis to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction.
? Responsible for the economical use of equipment and the general upkeep and maintenance of the fitness center environment.
? Provide complete information to member / Guest concerning Fitness Center facilities and services.
? To have a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel.
? Teaching aerobic / step / stretching / abdominal class and the Kids Club program.
? Train and assist in the evaluation of attendants who work with fitness programs. Supervise fitness attendants pool attendants and all other associates helping with any activities or functions arranged via the Sports & Recreations.

? Monitors the set up of work schedules and job requirements for day to day operation as well as for special events, including action plans.
? Create, co-ordinate and implement all relevant operational manuals for the department and prepares the training schedule accordingly.
? Performs duties common to all supervisor and other duties as may be assigned.
? To lead the implementation of all health and safety codes in the sports and leisure activities of the hotel, and in particular to take full and complete care of children.
? Monitor the success of the activities programs through the number of participants per scheduled event and through guests? feedback. Make necessary adjustments to maintain top quality, fun filled and original programs for hotel guests.
? In the gym, provide guests and members with skills, knowledge and motivation to achieve and maintain exercise related fitness goal.
? In the gym, develop and maintain a file system to ensure record of guests? information for proper follow-up on fitness goal progress.
? Develop and maintain a strong working environment with the other departments.
? Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting of charging fees for Fitness Center.
? Be prepared to assume other Fitness Center duties or responsibilities as requested by management.
