Sommelier

- High School diploma or equivalent degree.
- A good wine knowledge from the old and the new world.
- Practical knowledge of beverage operations and service.
- Knowledge of public health and sanitation regulations and procedures.

Job Summary:
- Responsible for beverage and Wine service/sales mainly in the Restaurant
- Beverage service at certain time in the main show lounge.

Job Duties:
- Responsible for promoting and maximising beverage sales.
- Works with the Wine butler when promoting Wine sales.
- Follows and ensures that the company beverage standards of service are being adhered.
- Assist guests during the dinner service with wine recommendations and
Selection for perfect pairing with their dinner, decanting of the wine and wine service.
- Ensure that all wine is served in proper glassware and in proper condition.
- Maintain all beverage lists to be accurate, up to date and free of errors.
