? Assists the catering sales management in achieving budgeted revenue and costs.
? To enlarge clients base ensuring maximum utilization of banquet rooms according to set parameters.
? To negotiate with clients ensuring that profitability guidelines of the hotel are adhered to ensure guest needs and all requests are met.
? To work with the catering sales manager in preparing business plan for catering sales.
? Understands hotel operations and respective responsibilities of each department.
? Prepares event orders( banquet / conference)
? Coordinating function and events.
? Represents the hotel to the guest.
? Understands financial reports, analysis, budgets and make pricing decisions for the department.
? Coordinates works operations within the department as well as other related depart.
? Prevents and resolves all guest grievances.
? Demonstrates effective and appropriate interaction with guests whilst maintaining a professional approach and image.
? Possesses a high level of hotel product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to the guests.
? Maintains security of all data relevant to the department.
? Deals effectively with guests and colleagues from a variety of cultures and be a team player.
? Ensures all reporting and servicing deadlines are met on a timely basis.
? Carries out other tasks as directed by supervisors.
? Abides by both the hotel and Sheraton policies and procedures.
? Analyses evaluate and improve your personal performance on a continual basis.
