- Minimum 3-5 years experience in similar position in 4-5 star hotel .
- Analytical skills, ability to prioritize and work under pressure while remaining polite and courteous.
- Results-orientated, dynamic and focused on creative solutions.
- Positive demeanor, with good communication, customer service and relationship skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Thai.
- General computer skills (MS Office, Outlook).
GENERAL MISSION
- The Digital Marketing Mangers mission is to primarily promote the hotel and to drive revenues through key digital marketing initiatives and activities.
- The Goal is to achieve optimal reach across all areas of Digital Marketing including:
o Hotel Specific websites
o Online Travel Agency websites
o Third party partnered websites
o Social Media
o EDMs and Electronic Distribution of Newsletters
- The performance of the Digital Marketing Manager will be determined by the productivities of the above mentioned areas of digital marketing as well as the overall results of the hotel.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS
- The Digital Marketing Manager performs his/her duties within the framework defined by the chain and hotel norms and by internal regulations as specified by the Cluster Digital Marketing Director.
- Assist the Sales & Marketing function in:
o Maintaining of OTA websites to ensure content is up to date and relevant
o Maintaining of promotional opportunities through OTA websites to ensure greatest possible digital exposure
o Monitoring of guest reviews through OTA sites and social media channels
o Identify digital marketing / sales opportunities through third party websites and forward recommendations to DOSM.
o Ensure content within wholesale extranet sites is up to date and relevant
o Keep within the Accor brand guidelines for all advertising and marketing.
o Management and understanding of the Accor Brand Audit for digital marketing
o Review the OTA Positioning / Ranking Reports in conjunction with Revenue Management and DOSM to identify areas of improvement.
o Management of Hotels Microsite; Visitation, SEO management, Referral sites, Content management, URL management, Work with the Accor Digital Cluster Team to ensure optimization
o Social Media; Scheduling of posts to drive awareness and interaction with current guests and potential new guests, Setting up and management of social media competitions, Build a high level of engagement and interaction, Ensure Brand Compliance, Development of Content and information, Report and analyse results, and provide future recommendation to DOSM based on findings.
o Preparation and Distribution of Monthly EMDs and Newsletter; Oversee the Design, Layout and Content, Distribution, Database Management, Preparing, implementing and compiling information to develop strategic digital Marketing Plans.
- Surveying, reviewing and analyzing of the competitors digital marketing efforts, in order to be proactive and adapt to competitor intelligence.
ADMINISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeps a record on all digital marketing activities and understands what is successful and what is not successful
- Prepares a fortnightly social media schedule to record all social media related actives for the preceding 2 weeks.
- Presents a summary of his/her findings / successes / activities to the Director Of Sales & Marketing on a weekly basis (Weekly Sales Report) prior to and after the week is completed.
- Attends daily briefing meetings and an end of week debriefing meeting with the sales team.
- Updating of activity schedules as required based on changes in market.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Digital Marketing Manager is familiar with:
o The operation and application of the hotel?s computer systems.
o The fundamentals of social media and electronic distribution systems
o Extranets and the functionality behind them
o OTA websites
COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeps himself/herself well informed about the operations especially in key departments (Revenue Management, F&B, Recreation, Spa, Front Office, Sales & Marketing etc.)
- Closely observes matters pertaining to what the competition are doing in the areas of digital marketing.
- Promotes the hotel as often as possible through digital marketing activities.
PUBLIC RELATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Digital Marketing Manager will also be required to organise meetings with professional people who are in a position to help publicise the hotel through Digital Marketing means.
DIRECT LIAISONS
- The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible to the Cluster Digital Marketing Director. With a dotted line report to the Cluster DOSM
FUNCTIONAL LIAISONS
- The Digital Marketing Manager will maintain contact with all relevant departments of the hotel
- Maintain a close working relationship with sister properties under the cluster assigned to the Digital Marketing Director
- Maintain relationships with key people pertaining to digital marketing within the hotel industry
REPLACEMENT AND TEMPORARY MISSION
- To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties or job functions are required by Management from time to time.
