A human resource manager is responsible for recruitment of employees, improving employee job satisfaction and coordinating between managers and employees in each department to ensure strategic goals are met, and issues are resolved. The HR manager is also accountable for:
? Visiting each department daily to check in on employee well-being
? Ensuring that employees embody the hotel?s positive hospitality culture
? Controlling costs to assist in meeting the departmental budgets
? Ensuring pay reviews/absence monitoring and wage queries are managed in line with the hotel?s guidelines.
? Coordinating with the director of engineering, operations manager and upper management during weekly meetings to follow up on respective issues and projects.
