Job Description:
Develop& execute sales strategies to maximize the contribution from key Leisureaccounts which handle Chinese, Korean and Japanese business for all ThailandHotels. This is to be carried out through marketplace penetration to increasethe productivity of existing accounts as well as securing new accounts in orderto deliver/exceed our fair market share.
Position Summary:
? Toactively promote the services and facilities of the Thailand Hotels to allcustomers and guests and cross sell the other Hilton hotels globally whenappropriate.
? To communicate with both internal and externalcustomers in a polite and constructive manner ensuring customers expectationsare exceeded.
? Acting diligently in the course of employment withdue care for the health and safety for themselves, other staff, customers andother persons lawfully on the premises.
? To attend and actively participate in departmentalcommunication meetings and nominated training sessions and take responsibilityfor personal development.
? Performing any additional tasks as delegated by ourcustomers or management to ensure our customers receive ?Superior andDistinctive Service?.
? To perform any tasks of a reasonable nature asrequired and requested by the Regional Director of Sales ? SEA
? Ensuring the standards of Hilton is maintained.
? To wear the correct attire and maintain a neat,clean appearance as specified in the grooming standards for non-uniformedstaff.
? To workwith Hotel Management and central support services to communicate changes inthe local market conditions and provide effective and timely solutions to minimizeany detrimental effects.
? Represent the hotels at selected tradeshows and onsales visits to key source markets, agreed and approved by RDOS ? SEA.
? Keycontact for hotel site inspections. Conduct inspections & entertainment asnecessary.
? Accurately identifies the level of influence anddecision making power of contacts in the customer organization and uses theseto secure business
? Source and develop new business for the hotels.
? To targetand convert accounts from the competition.
? Reviews customer base to determine newopportunities for account penetration.
? Liaiseswith Director of Sales and the DBD?s to review the effectiveness of salesactivities.
? Contributes ideas to improve the products andservices offered.
? Produces training and development plans for yourdirect reports.
? Ensure planned training and development activitieshappen
? Regularly reviews and evaluates the impact trainingis having on performance at departmental, team and individual level.
? Agrees, clarifies and implements Best Practiceselling methods and procedures at all levels in the team to ensure businessobjectives are met
? Responsiblefor updating the GMs and DOS/DBD within the hotels re business opportunities,market trends, competitor activities etc.
? Assisthotels with planning of the Revenue Plan for the assigned segment, includingrate setting and strategies.
? Issuing of Contracts, brochure contribution agreements (as applicable)and allocations for the Key Accounts and source markets according to thehotels? Revenue Plan.
? Regularcommunication with the Hilton Worldwide Sales Offices in key source markets.
? Ensure all contracts are negotiated & issuedaccording to the Hilton Supplier Friendly terms, using the official HiltonContract templates.
? Produce accurateand relevant reports as directed by the RDOS ? SEA.
? Provideregular market intelligence and keep key data for such intelligence.
