1. At least Bachelor degree in any field
2. At least 1-2 years experience in Assistant Reservation Manger with evidenced tracked record of achievements
3. Strong in inter-personality, leadership, and creative skill
4. Proficiency in English and computer literate
Assistant Reservation Manager performs his/her functions within the framework defined by the norms of the U Hotels & Resorts Brand and by internal regulation.
He/she maximizes the revenue of each booking sold and manages "upselling" as much as possible.
He/she has a perfect control of the room situation at all time and keeps the Front Office Manager and General Manager up to date at all time.
1. To assist the management in increasing the hotel profitability.
2. To handle all reservation related to F.I.T, groups and incentives.
3. To supervise staff within the section.
4. To assist customer and ensure that theirs stays at U Sukhumvit Bangkok are comfortable and satisfactory.
5. Responsible for daily organisation of the section.
6. Having positive attitude, setting good working example to subordinates.
7. Establish through the Sales department a close relationship with local handling agents and potential business producers.
8. Take responsibilities by following up the operation related to the groups reservations, check-ins, stays and departures.
9. Supervise/delegate duties to staff in the section.
10. To ensure that all stationeries and technical equipment being used are kept in good conditions
11. Be concerned with disciplines and staff performance within the section.
12. Prepare with all concerned all necessary information (i.e., special billing, rooming lists, master folios, itineraries, schedules, etc.)
13. Ensure a smooth operation to prevent and avoid any complaints.
14. Screens all complaints and handle quickly those either directly or through the section or department supervisor.
15. Must be always in good communication with the Sales & Marketing department, the Food & Beverage department (i.e., Restaurants, Banqueting), the Finance department, and all Front Office department during special events, promotions or packages to transmit all information to his/her sections
16. Meet all groups/tour leaders upon arrival to furnish them with information of meal arrangements and other hotel facilities in order to give a personal touch.
17. Provide arrangements related to all F.I.T, group arrivals, in-house and departures to achieve a high level of proficiency and productivity.
