GENERAL MISSION:
1. Under the general guidance and supervision of Human Resources Director, Human Resources Officer will assist in planning, managing, controlling, coordinating and participating personnel activities in areas of staff benefits, wages, salary, labor and employee relations, recruitment, as well as recommending, implementing, formulating and executing hotel policies, procedures, rules regulations and program for staff.
2. Human Resources Officer is responsible for all licenses related to hotel business, visa and work permit of hotel expatriates.
3. Human Resources Officer will be the coordinator for the hotel provident fund.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS:
1. Assists in the general routine function of Human Resources Administration as well as staff welfare & benefit and all staff activities:
? Locker Administration.
? Employee employment and resignation.
? Making name badge.
? Prepares Birthday Party for employee.
? Follows up employee performance evaluation.
? Maintains management leaves record.
2. Assists in the communication flow to all hotel staff through notice board, newsletter, bulletin and direct communication with staff regarding Human Resources Policies and Hotel rules and regulations.
3. Recruitment:
? Develops and implements recruitment and screening system.
? Assists in establishing standard policies and procedures for recruitment.
? Ensures timely recruitment of staff.
4. Employee Check In:
? Keeps updated with new hire arrival dates.
? Prepares to receive new employees.
? Informs Secretary to Human Resources Director to issue ID card, meal coupon or card, lockers, etc. to new hires.
? Opens and maintains a file for each employee.
? Maintains up to date personal records for all employees.
5. Employee Separation:
? Issues separation clearance form to leaving employees.
? Collects all hotel-issued items from leaving employee and records receipt of such items.
? Coordinates with Department Heads to arrange the Exit Interviews.
? Maintains updates all leave records of employees to ensure that all leaves are promptly cleared.
