PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market Strategy:
- Works alongside the Cluster Director of Revenue to ensure proper pricing, positioning, and inventory management of all rooms, function spaces, and other revenue streams for 4 Hotels.
Sales:
- Provides input and direction on hotel goals, pricing, selling strategy, and customer information to support the Cluster Director of Revenue.
Financial Management:
- Assists the Cluster Director of Revenue in developing and managing the market strategy budget to meet or exceed budgeted revenue expectations.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the Cluster Director of Revenue to develop the annual operating budget for the hotel.
- Works with the Director of Sales and Marketing to assist in the development of the Marketing Plan for all revenue streams.
- Assists in Month-end reports, Weekly Report from Head Office, SSM for 4 Hotels, Oakwood Weekly Report.
Technical and Commercial Responsibilities:
- Supports the Cluster Director of Revenue in ensuring hotels achieve/exceed revenue targets as specified in respective budgets.
- Contributes to the development of a strong revenue culture with the objective to improve the hotel?s market share positions and RGI for 4 Hotels.
- Applies Revenue Management principles and works in conjunction with the hotel leadership team to determine strategies to achieve the budget and maintain a strong market share position.
- Assists with the annual pricing process for transient, group, banquet, and function space.
- Continuously analyzes competitive sets, price positioning, seasonality, and mix in coordination with the Cluster Director of Revenue.
- Ensures that standards of Revenue Management discipline are followed within the property.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Assists in training the Reservations team members on key areas of revenue and yield management.
- Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with colleagues and ensures this collaborative environment is fostered within the team.
REPORT LINE & COMMUNICATION:
- Reports directly to the Cluster Director of Revenue and collaborates closely with other hotel and corporate leadership teams
