EXPECTATIONS FOR YOUR ROLE AS AN ACTIVITIES MANAGER:
- As an Activities Manager, you are responsible & empowered to create & manage all activities relevant to Lub d core activities & promotions. Support the guests with their quest for information on our neighborhood & all hostel- s product offerings. As a Activities Manager, you are there as well to drive & guide the activity host/hosts, support all areas and spend time developing the hosts skills related to activities. Lead by example, driving the energy, spirit & motivation of the team and our guests. Build an active team environment in the day to day operations.
- You are to multi-task in to our room, food & beverage outlets as required. Assign hosts as required to also multi-task across the various roles. You are a Scout Leader, an Expert Guide and the the Centre of our Neighborhood. You will help guests connect to other guests and always Troubleshoot.

Key Duties as an Activities Manager:
- # Activities Manager to create & supervise Lub d activities that are provided for our guest according to schedule
- # Activities Manager to create, make, lead & participate with our guests in the activities we offer.
- # You are to support all non room revenue programs, ensuring we have the right equipment and collateral in place.
- # As a scout leader know the neighborhood & the location better than hosts. Share your knowledge & experience with guests & the hosts.
- # Attends to guest- s complaints, inquiries and requests, and refer problems to Assistant Manager if unable to assist. You are empowered to solve the problems as an Activities Manager.
- # Responsible for the daily role of the Activities Host/Hosts, ensuring they are following the requirements of their job description & SOP- s.
- # As an Activities Manager you are a troubleshooter, positioning yourself within the hostel where guest needs are. Main support to the F&B & reception as needed, and guest requests as needed. You lead the team & yourself to meet the guest needs.
- # As the Activities Manager you are to ensure monthly activity programs are in place, and ensure you are gathering details on participation, guest feedback
- responses, and create formal reports supporting the activity program. # Support the scheduling of Activities Host/Hosts & team with the Assistant Manager and participate in the MOD program.





- Other Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- # Ensuring the team welcome our guests to the world of Lub d, and the neighborhood, smiling and using eye contact in your section at all time.
- # Ensure guests are enjoy to Lub d activities experience.
- # Create & serve the activities we offer to our guests in a timely manner and at the standard we have set.
- # Schedule activities and preparation for our guests and train hosts how to do this per SOP- s.
- # Maintain the Common area and Swimming Pool, both in terms of appearance & cleanliness, also ensuring
- equipment- s are well maintain.
- # You must ask our guests often how is their stay and if there is anything we can do to help them. Listen to their feedback and follow up with urgency & care, making sure we delight the guest with a quick response and caring attitude. Use the tools given to raise the problems, identify them, explain the issues, and propose solutions.
- # You must multi-task, offering support through the hostel. Must be willing to constantly adapt to the needs & demands of our guests. This is committed to by all the hosts under your supervision.
- # To assist guests often, approaching them if they may
- seem to need help, making sure their stay at the Hostel is comfortable and an experience to remember.
- Encourage all hosts to do the same.
- # Take personal interest and pride the work area is clean at all times and manage this with the hosts.
- # Ensure that the guests depart the hotel with a positive impression of hostel service.
- # Ensure the appropriate mode in the Hostel with the right music, the right entertainment & the right activity programs
- # You are to maintain the cool down room, the seating around the pool area, and relationship with 3rd party vendors supporting guest programs and all of the Fitch concepts such as the Story Box in the hostel.

- Administrative Duties
- # All correct documents are completed by self & hosts, in term of Safety concerned.
- # Ensure all reports are completed as requires, fill in daily log reports and handover to the next shift/team.
- # Preparation for next day activities and arrangement need.
- # Conduct Monthly Safety Training to Activities host/hosts.
- # Monthly inventory for all equipment in Common area & Swimming Pool
- # Be an ambassador for the Lub d brand, both in and out of work, promoting the positive reputation of the brand. Post positive comments on social media and information that is not confidential or can be negative on the brand reputation.

- Human Resource needs
- # Understanding, supportive, encourage & helpful to all as a supervisor.
- # Create a positive atmosphere with your colleagues and team members of the Hostel.
- # Follow & supervise the rules & regulations are stipulated by human resources around uniforms, personal hygiene & appearance.
- # Ensure self & hosts are using appropriate language, positive attitude with guests and team members & relationship with guests professional.
- Relations
- # Report directly overall to the Hostel Manager and on shift to the Assistant Manager.
- # Assist in maintaining a close working relationship with all Departments of the Hostel, ensuring information is shared freely and timely.


- Knowledge & Performance
- # Contribute to overall operational efficiency by performing relevant duties as assigned.
- # Ensuring maximum guest satisfaction through guest interaction and attention from self & hosts.
- # Establish honest, friendly, genuine & caring professional relationships with our guests. You are their guide, their scout and their neighbor.
- # Provide guests with the most accurate and up to date information at all times regarding the hostel, relevant activities in the hostel, promotions & specials and local neighborhood events.
- # Ensure self & hosts are selling the various products available to our guests, participate in the incentive programs & manage the incentive program tasks and reporting.
- # Be a part of the training programs, and ensure all
- SOP- s are used by the hosts and retrained by you.

- Commercial Action
- # Have a thorough knowledge of the room types sold, the food & beverage products we sell, along with any other commercial products that drive revenue to the business. It is your responsibility to maximise these revenues.
- # Maintain the reputation for the Hostel and assist to increase the overall profitability and awareness.
- #To be flexible and willing when asked to fill in
- any areas where needed to help or required and ready to other duties as required.
