1. At least 2-3 years of Chinese Chef experience in a hotel or top class Chinese restaurant
2. Have a strong working knowledge in Chinese cuisine.
3. Strong understanding of HACCP
4. Proven track record of cost control including food, equipments, labor and waste to meet the food quality goals and the hotel?s financial goals.
5. Demonstrate real passion for menu planning and leadership
Responsible for the proper efficiency and profitable functioning of the Chinese kitchen. Prepare and ensure quality and standard of food. Test cooked food and check its original appearance and freshness. Prepare and check all daily menus for food preparation and delegate the required work. Train and assist other staff in setting up and preparing all menu items.
