Director of Sales and Marketing
A unique opportunity now exists for a highly skilled and adaptive Director of Sales and marketing to join our management team. You will be accountable for the revenue generation of the hotel. You are a natural leader that strives for the success. You set high standards and engage with customers through all market segments.



? Provides a professional, advisory and executive support service to the General Manager to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the hotel.
? Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products of the hotel.
? Coordinates all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume. This includes advertising, sales activities, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, etc.
? Serves as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions.
? Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
? Forms sales strategies for all market segments and delivers positive outcomes.
? Interacts with individuals outside the hotel, including, but not limited to clients, Convention Bureaus, local Hotel Associations, Government Tourist offices, Airlines, Travel Agents, Tour Operators, competitors and other members of the local community.
? Forecasts, controls and reviews expenditures in accordance with hotel procedures.
? Conducts development and performance reviews, identifying key personnel for further development.
? Responsible for total revenue development within the hotel through sourcing, securing and maximizing all sales opportunities.
? Evaluate new markets and their needs comparing these with our product and service
? Markets the Hotel and all its outlets and sales points, to lead and direct the sales effort and react on trends, so that the highest profitability can be reached
? Counsels all sales personnel on a scheduled program of monthly meetings. Chairs revenue management meeting.
? You have demonstrated success across all market segments.
