? University degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical, etc.).
? Previous experience as Chief Engineer of at least 4 years in a hotel is required with pre-opening and hands-on experience.
? Experience in managing, preventive maintenance and operating an electrical system, air-conditioner, water system and pump, sanitary system, pool, gas and fire system, generator, automated and lighting system.
? Results driven with the ability to be flexible.
? Good command of English both speaking and writing.
1. Assesses and reviews the job performance of subordinates and maintains personnel records of assigned employees.
2. Oversees training and development of Engineering Department personnel.
3. Directs and coordinates the activities of all assigned personnel and departmental responsibilities.
4. Maintains electrical licenses and knowledge of all voltage systems, wiring, and motors throughout the property.
5. Ensures aggressive "guest first" attitude among team members and provides friendly guest contact experiences.
6. Ensures good safety practices of employees and guests throughout the hotel, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures.
