Receiving Job
? Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
? Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
? Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
? Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
? Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
? Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
? Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Inventory Job
? Compiles production or sales cost reports on unit or total basis for department or working unit: Calculates individual items, such as labor, material, and time costs, relationship of sales or revenues to cost, and overhead expenditures, using calculating machine.
? Prepares reports showing total cost, selling prices, or rates profits.
