?To arrive at work on time in the uniform provided, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance, according to the associate handbook.
?To have a complete knowledge of the hotel product, including room types, rates, relative features and facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa and health club.
?Read the Housekeeping logbook every day for any relevant notes that need attention or response.
?Ensure correct systems are in place for tracking flower orders.
?Ensure correct systems are in place for monitoring, tracking and transferring cost to other departments of the hotel. This should be done monthly prior to month end.
?Track performance of sales to budget, early detection of shortfall is essential.
?Avoid overtime through good supervision and immediate response to problems.
?Ensure flowers are stored at correct temperature to ensure spoilage does not occur.
?Ensure wastage is kept to a minimum; many floral items can be recycled.
?Ensure all associates practice correct telephone etiquette.
?Ensure correct accounting procedures are in place as outlined by the accounts department.
?Develop training systems to improve knowledge and skill of florists.
?To perform all jobs in an efficient manner to achieve a productivity level of merit.
?Attend training sessions as required.
