GENERAL MISSION:
- The Assistant Hotel Manager?s mission is to be responsible for the entire Hotel operation. His/her scope of responsibilities covers the financial results (revenue, cost of sales, payroll & related expenses, other expense, departmental income, gross operating income, net operating income) of the hotel. He/she is also responsible for the standards of the product, service, management of human resources and the sales and marketing strategies, goals and results.
RESPONSIBILITES AND MEANS:
- The Assistant Hotel Manager performs his/her duties within the framework as defined by the chain or hotel norms and internal regulations.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assistant Hotel Manager is responsible for:
- Quality of the product.
- Control of hotel techniques and applications by the staff.
- Staff adherence to product spirit and follow-up.
- Applications of the inspection norms established by the group.
- Sales & Pricing policies.
- Establishment of the Hotel?s Operating Budget and Financial forecast.
- Special care and control of cash flow by keeping the Account Receivable (City Ledger) as low as possible as well as a minimum operating stock.
- The providence of all legal and internal documents.
- Keeping in proper shape and conditions, all permanent assets of the hotel.
- The perfect functioning of all equipment by establishing a preventive maintenance program.
- The application of a Security policy and procedure.
