Key Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Develop & Implement All HSE Standards in a Company Manual that includes Food Safety, HACCP & GMP Practices, and Other Business related items.
Develop & Implement and QA Standards for Operation and Non-Operation processes.
Develop & Implement Monthly Audit plan and process for All Branches.
Develop & Implement all Safe Working Process for ALL machinery and job functions to ensure our staff are fully trained to meet our safety standards and policies.
Initiate and organize HSE & QA training of employees and executives.
Through QA processes ensure that ALL staff adhere to the standards as per the training modules.
Report to Operations Manager & HR Manager ALL instances of non-compliance.
Conduct risk assessment, hazardous and unsafe conditions/acts and enforce preventative measures.
Developing measures to assure personnel safety.
Correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular management line of authority.
Exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action is required.
Maintains awareness of active and developing situations.
Ensures there are safety messages in each Incident Action Plan.
Participate in the Branch staff meetings to identify any health, safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work-plan.
Review the Incident Action Plan for safety implications.
Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
The HSE & QA Manager reviews and approves all subcontractor safety plans.
Verifies that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted monthly to the General Manager.
Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
Promotes safety practices at the Branch.
Enforces safety guidelines.
Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses.
Conducts job hazard analysis.
Responds to employees? safety concerns.
Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to General Manager.
