Qualifications
South East Asia experience recommended.
Written and verbal command of English. Thai language skills beneficial.
A diploma / degree in culinary arts or equivalent working experience.
Great culinary skills, good business acumen, a strong work ethic and people-management and facilitation skills.
Job Purpose
Wine Connection is looking for a Country Executive Chef based in Thailand to manage the culinary aspects of the organization. Candidates with passion for excellence, expertise in culinary operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Wine Connection.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, your main responsibilities will be to:
Plan, innovate, and create new dishes for the menu and limited time offers with Southern European influence,
Develop and improve cooking methodology through raw material sourcing, recipes enhancement, procedures and equipment recommendations,
Demonstrate, Train and follow up in the restaurants, by ensuring the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food,
Actively involved in the selection, training, development and evaluation of culinary department employees,
Hold employees accountable for their roles and performance standards.
Ability to identify gaps in existing processes and make pro-active recommendations and improvements,
Ensure that Food Safety standards as set forth by Wine Connection, local, and federal regulations are in compliance. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
