1. Specific responsibilities for recreation managers may include planning and budgeting for classes, activities and events.
2. Promotes activities in the community.
3. Attends activities to ensure proper implementation.
4. Oversees employee and maintaining attendance logs.
5. Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work plan for the Health Club Department; meet with employee to identify and resolve problems.
6. Assigns work activities, projects and programs; reviews and evaluates work products, methods and procedures.
7. Conducts a variety of organizational studies, investigations, and operational studies; recommend modifications to programs, policies, and procedures as appropriate; assists with surveying and educating the community of leisure service needs and programs.
