- You speak fluently in English.
- Minimum 3 years of food & beverage in a similar position in a well-established hotel.
- Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up.
- You are educated in hotel and restaurant field. And a certificate is needed.
- You have a positive thinking and opened minded attitude.
- You must have knowledge about wines / cocktails or all of them.
- Wine education certificate is needed.
- You are a trained sommelier or something equivalent.
- You have passion and good knowledge about wine.
Be well-groomed at all times.
- Have knowledge of purchasing, storage, rotation and training of all beverage offerings.
- Understand beverage menu pricing and contribution margin.
- Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, mineral waters, soft drinks and cocktails.

รายละเอียดงาน

The Sommelier is responsible for selecting, buying, storing, selling, and serving wines. Ensure that guests are able to find a wine that fits their tastes and complements their food.
Work with the kitchen to find suitable wines to pair with dishes on the menu. Work out on the floor of the restaurant, helping customers to decide the exact wine that best meets their needs. Key Tasks
- Responsible for ordering, receiving, inventory, organizing and selling wine for all departments.
- Oversee all wine purchases and cost management.
- Oversee the Wine Committee duties (minutes, wine of the month selection, introduction of new vendors, wineries, etc.)
- Assist members and guests during the dinner service with wine recommendations and selection for perfect pairing with their dinner, decanting of the wine and wine service.
- Develop a training program for all Team Members to improve their knowledge of wine tasting and wine service.
- Train Team Members throughout the Club in order to maximize their understanding of wine specific to their departments and proper service techniques including glassware, pour levels, storage, beverage pairings and the ability to understand guest preferences.
- Ensure that all wine is served in proper glassware and in proper condition.
- Maintain all beverage lists to be accurate, up to date and free of errors.
- Promote all wine events.
- Responsible for developing an annual budget for the A?la Carte wine sale.
