? Must have guide license
Ready to work under pressure and longer hours in the high season
The Tour guide is responsible for escorting groups or individuals through an area of interest, providing educational and interesting details along a planned route. This position may require a guide to recite a memorized script. Strong focus on product improvement and customer service and satisfaction. This position requires a personable and friendly demeanor, quick problem-solving abilities and a passion for travel and people. Guides will be responsible for driving engagement both on tours and through social media
? Arrange transport to hotels for arrival and departure
? Prepare and present tour itinerary and important information
? On the ground problem solving
? Managing costs and adhering to budgets
? Interact with customers; provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about product and services
? Support general projects from department head
? Communicate with travel agent and ops manager to ensure smooth tour operations
? Assist in the development and research of new tours
? Guide multiple tours with groups of varying sizes and nationalities
? Drive social media engagement
? Continuously strive to improve products and bring new ideas to the table
? Upsell guests to other owned and 3rd party tours
